WHWC Update Day Four–Sunday
This is going to be a great day for sure Donnia and I are up and ready to get our part done, Mariesa made 3 Oatmeal Bakes Donnia made a fruit plate and cut a fresh water melon and the team made it go away.
After breakfast Donnia has made a list of the ones who want to volunteer to help with the clean up after breakfast today it was a great team to help by washing the dishes. These guy & gals are the best no complaints and no problems they just jump in and do whatever is needed and I tell you this was not expected at all. 8:30 and time to head out the door to go to Pastor Mitacc’s Church before the service the team is going to go and do some door to door evangelism and encourage and give tracts to whom ever they can a home or a business they are getting an invitation to know Jesus today.
The service is full of life and Pastor Mitacc is so gracious, his daughter Elizabeth and the singers brought everybody to a place of worship and then after a few announcements she came back out with her traditional dress and preformed a dance of her culture, everybody liked it.
Up to the
microphone stepped the man of God and the anointing was present to heal and set free in the house as Pastor Tim brought the a word of faith, it was the right message at the right time and was well received by the people.
After he preached he had a healing line and many responded as the youth team and Pastor Tim ministered by the laying on of hands. Reports for the many of the ones prayed for said God healed them and it was plain to see this on their faces.
Head-em-up & move-em-out it was time to go back to the mission house for some lunch.
Donnia cooked an awesome
meal of Sour Cream Enchiladas with tomato & onion and lettuce on the side, chips and salsa, I only helped her.
When the teens got up for breakfast they were already asking about the lunch so we know to make a bunch. Well we made 62 when the door opened the enchilada song was being sung by Lexi with the whole team they were ready for some food.
Like a rushing mighty wind they came through, it was a blast Cathy help me serve and we served and we served and then in a matter of what seemed like minutes the whirlwind of ravenous veraciousides had ended and not one Enchilada was to be seen..it was amazing.
After lunch we made sure that nothing had been eaten apart from the food and the good news everybody still had all the parts they came with and it was time to was the dishes and clean up to get ready for the dinner tonight which is already being highly anticipated so I am told…………I am making a big Big BIg pot of spaghetti.
So it was time to head out the door to Pastora Paula’s church do do the street evangelism and and dramas. These guys are getting this down to a science now and it is being very effective.
Back to the mission house and time for dinner………….this should be fun.
This pot of spaghetti was full and before you knew it it had been consumed. Everybody seemed to enjoy the food and the fun during dinner a sudden shout went up from the group, it seems that Lexi had a problem with her had and a whole group rushed to her aid laid hands and prayed for her and she was instantly healed. As soon as dinner was over Donnia and I started to clean up and about that time Pastor Jorge called and said he felt that he needed to come and help us clean up I said that was wonderful because the teens had to go to a church and could not help tonight and Donnia and I were so tired, he came he helped he brought chocolate cake………..WOW.
While he was here Cathy and Jorge and his girlfriend Francy had a little bible study.
The group went to a church in the higher area of Arequipa and it was going to be cold but they would get to see a unique church worship in the area of the Inca’s.
This church is Pastored by Pastor Don Ladda he and his wife have been here for 12 or 15 years the church is four stories high and has took about 10 years to build.
Pastor Tim brought a strong message and when the alter call was given he ask “if you want to come forth for prayer come when I count to three” before he could count people begin rushing to the front.Everybody is back somewhat tired but very happy. Each night I look forward to the time of devotions and testimonies that the whole youth participate in they are always inspiring and full of faith and thankfulness for the things God has done through the day and also full of anticipation of what is to come tomorrow.
