Bitter/Sweet

Well this will be our last blog update from Peru as a resident. We are going to miss the many friends we made here to be sure.

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_wgjfk
We will miss our friends Lew and Mariesa Davis,Donnia and I owe them so much. We had never lived on the mission field fulltime until we came to Peru and Lew and Mariesa took us under their wing and helped us so much. They showed us practical things that we will use for the rest of our lives and they showed us love and always had an encouraging word when we sometimes wondered if anyone knew we were here. And when it was time for us to move on to the next thing God had for us they again only had encouraging words and a helpful heart.

Final Days

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_drvdg
Donnia and I and Pastor Charles are expecting our friend and fellow minister brother Murphy Hanley here in a few days as he will be ministering. Really all the preparation and arrangements have been made by a fellow missionary here in Arequipa and our good friend Charles Dean. He has worked hard to get a building and coordinate with local Pastors to make this a special time of ministry. If you do not know about the ministry of brother Charles then we invite you to find out more about him on his website at Charles Dean Ministries.

Back to Bolivia

As soon as Bro.Murphy is on the plane back to the USA Donnia and I will be on our way to our new home in Bolivia. First stop will be in La Paz to minister for Pastor Edson he is a Rhema Bolivia graduate and Pastor of La Palabra de Fe in La Paz. We will be taking a bus cama (bus with a bed) from Arequipa straight to La Paz where I will preach on Sunday morning and then we will catch a bus from La Paz to Cochabamba. We have a lot of work to get done before we leave for the USA in December.

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_ikdek
We have to get RBTC ready for the school year to start in March and prepare for Pastora Kim Connor and Mrs.Cathy Bentley to come and minister. This is going to be a real treat for everyone. This will be the first time Pastora Kim has been to Bolivia but we are hoping it will not be the last.

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_ohgdd
Ms.Cathy on the other hand has been here a few times and every time she comes she imparts a spiritual deposit into our spirits.

Also we are getting ready to come to the USA in December. We are looking forward to spending time with our family and friends. We will also be looking to minister in as many Churches as we can, to share what God has been doing in Bolivia and Peru and to raise some much needed support. If you would like us to come to your Church please contact us to arrange a time. Also if you would like to arrange a time for us to have lunch or dinner with you we would love to do that as well.

Thank You Pastor Jorge

Media_httplh5ggphtcom_hgbkc
We would be remiss if we neglected to say thank you to our dear friend Pastor Jorge Benavides. He worked so hard to help us with getting all of our things moved to Bolivia. He has a member of his Church who’s father owns a semi truck, and made arrangements with him to transport our books and TV and clothes everything we had here in Peru except our computer desks. We did have to pay the driver but it was worth it to Donnia and I to be able to have our things transported to Bolivia safely. Pastor Jorge will be going to Bolivia with us in November for a few days to help us with our trip.

Transportation in Bolivia

Media_httplh6ggphtcom_pzpna
We need a way to get around safely. We are looking to purchase a midsized car or mini van (which would really be  best) or we can purchase a Honda motorcycle for $3000 US dollars. This would enable us to save quite a bit of money for taxi fares
Media_httplh3ggphtcom_ctgea
and give us the mobility to maintain the ministry in a much more effective way. I will be working at RBTC everyday as well as ministering in the area and we will need to make frequent trips to La Paz and Santa Cruz and other areas.

A Few Hours In Cusco

We were able to spend about 9 hours in Cusco,Peru what a wonderful and historic city. So many old Spanish buildings and Churches. The Principal Plaza (in Peru all main plaza are called the same “Plaza de Armas”) was just beautifully landscaped with flowers and Topiaries. There are four plazas in Cusco all wonderfully landscaped. While we were there a celebration was being held with parades and marching bands and soldiers. It was the raising of the flags day. Of course we went to the chocolate museum and had a sample or two and ate lunch in a really cozy restaurant with a balcony overlooking the square. Soon it was time to go to the bus station and start our final leg back to Arequipa but it was a really nice way to spend the day.

Happy Birthday Donnia ¡Feliz Cumpleaños

Once back in Peru we were welcomed by the friends that missed us and a big party was being planned. It was going to be Donnia’s birthday in a few days Oct 30th and Francy had stuff in the works. On Sunday the 30th she was at our home bright and early before Church with chicken and vegetables and spices and potatoes. But what she did not know was that it was not enough because the party had grown to at least 15 maybe 17 people. So we went and bought some more chicken and stuff. The meal Francy was going to make is called Pollo Huancayo and was it ever good. We had a good night and Donnia was so blessed she even got a call from people in Lima wishing her a happy day.

Construction Mission Teams

Do you feel like God wants to use you on a short term mission trip but you are not a preacher. Then you are a helps minister, maybe you are an electrician or know something about plumbing or perhaps you would not mind painting a wall or two or some other construction type things. If that is you we could REALLY use you in Bolivia for a week or two.

WE need to get the campus of RHEMA Bible Training Center ready for the new year. If you would like to be a part of this project please contact me today. Just go to  Alexander Ministries Intl and send us an email and we will give you all the details.

Thank You

Thank you for your interest in the financial support of Alexander Ministries. This ministry operates by faith. And God is always faithful to provide by dealing with the right person at the right time to give so that every need is met with surplus. Your gift is an answer to our faith and prayers. It is also an investment in God's eternal kingdom for which you'll receive reward. We thank you for your partnership in the gospel and ask you to join us in expecting a multiplied return to you in Jesus name.

It has been go,go,go since we landed in Bolivia but has been worth every minute of being here. We have seen people saved and healed and Pastors encouraged in their ministry. God has and is so good to Donnia and I.

Media_httplh5ggphtcom_acheh
First I started teaching at RBTC Bolivia 3 hours in the morning and three hours at night and of course Violeta   Larsson was right beside me, she tends to repeat everything I say, and it’s a good thing too.

During mine and Donnia’s time here I preached at a local AG Church once on a Saturday night for their world missions service then on the Sunday morning service two came the first night to receive the Lord and then 3 the next morning, very exciting to see new people come to the Lord. One of the leaders of the AG Church was a very energetic man named Samuel he is just full of God’s love he and his wife are from Brazil.

The students of RBTC had a special night where they presented a dinner and drama and invited potential Rhema Bible Training Students to attend to get exposed to what RHEMA is all about and hopefully be a first year student in 2012. During this time numbers were called out for people to come up on the platform and answer some pretty tough questions in hopes of winning a full scholarship to RHEMA. Well the numbers were called and the people came up and low and behold Samuel was one of them, this was a real surprise. The questions were asked and Samuel is going to be a first year student in 2012. Wow he was so excited and I was for him, I ask how he first heard about RHEMA he said “I read a book by Bro Hagin called – The Name of Jesus, and it changed my life”.

You can buy this book from our bookstore online at AMI if you don’t see the book you are looking for please write to us and we can help you.

Media_httplh6ggphtcom_bnbei
In the mist of doing the teaching we had many planning meetings with David & Violeta about the upcoming year at Rhema Bolivia, we are believing this is going to be one of the best years at RBTC Bolivia. Soon RBTC will be in La Paz.

So things in Bolivia are starting to

Media_httplh6ggphtcom_ahevy
take off in a big way, we have great leadership with Pastor David Larsson and it is exciting to see what God is doing in the earth today.

We had some great students and I really feel in my heart that God is going to use many of these students in a big way.

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_tbarb
After teaching at RBTC it was time to go to Santa Cruz and meet with two 2009 grads from RHEMA USA. There names are Craig & Glenda Hussey and they work for The Gideons International In Canada. They and 18 others from Canada along with Pastor Jim Andrews and about 200 pastors, just spent two weeks in Lima and in Huancayo Peru and after two weeks of ministry in Peru, the team ended up sharing around 47,000 New Testaments printed in Spanish and English with people and helped lead 11,000 people in one on one decisions for Christ this is not counting the schools and large groups of people this is only one on one evangelism.

Media_httplh6ggphtcom_efmlf
We all met with them and are planning an out reach for this area as well, this will be coordinated through La Palabra de Fe with Pastor David. We will be working with many Pastors and leaders in the area. We even have an opportunity to reach deeply into the Mennonite community. We heard a dramatic testimony from a missionary that works with the Mennonite people.

Media_httplh6ggphtcom_ucfae
Soon Donnia and I will be going back to Peru for a short time to make final arrangements to to come back to Bolivia. We have so enjoyed our stay and have been treated in the highest way, as you can see Donnia feels right at home. The weather in Bolivia is wonderful and the people are so kind to us here. Needless to say we are really enjoying the food. But we have began to walk around the block every morning for about an hour and are doing some regular exercise.

Media_httplh5ggphtcom_msrfa
Last Sunday I preached at the central Church La Palabra de Fe for Pastor David Larsson while he went to one of the other La Palabra de Fe Church’s to minister. We had a good service and the people are so full of life and joy. The praise and worship time is absolutely wonderful and rich.

Media_httplh6ggphtcom_zwgyb
I preached from the book of Joel “Dream a Dream with Me” about vision and the future that God has for you. At the end many people responded to the invitation to renew the dreams God had given them and to pursue them.

Media_httplh5ggphtcom_ccxea
This is missions month at the Church and all around the Church are flags and posters of countries from around the world. The people are excited about world missions and reaching them with the gospel.

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_ptfhv
While in Santa Cruz Donnia and I and David and Violeta were blessed to be able to stay in a very nice resort hotel provided  to the 4 of us by a ministry while we were working in the area. It was really nice and all the expenses were taken care of.

We were able to set up meeting’s with many pastors and even get to see some of Santa Cruz, it is very much like Florida kind of hot and muggy.

The Lord is so wonderful in all that He does and takes good care of His kids. We thank the ministry and friends that blessed us so much with the wonderful two days in Santa Cruz.

Please continue to pray for the work that is being done through out Latin America and please pray for Donnia and I as we endeavor to follow the Lord wherever He would lead us.

Everybody came to see us off at the bus station and it was a blast . Our trip from Arequipa to Cusco on a Bus was a real nice experience. This bus is no Greyhound.

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_wffwj
The seats lay all

the way back and the foot pad comes up and make a nice twin size bed. They have WI-FI and a computer station and on board movies. The movies are not what I would recommend to anyone but at least you can ignore them, and by 10:00 pm the lights a are out and most are going to sleep, there are only 12 people on the main floor of the bus I am not sure how many on the top floor.

Media_httplh5ggphtcom_seeih
Dinner is served and hot coffee or coke. As you can see Donnia was ready to snuggle in.

It was a 10 hour trip but we slept most of the way, once in Cusco our driver met us at the bus station and took us to our hotel.

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_fjjud

This is a very nice place beautiful wood décor and a wonderful view from the 5th floor of the city and the mountains.

After a very nice private breakfast on the roof top floor, we had coffee con letche and toast with fresh butter and strawberry jam, & scrambled eggs.

Next a shower and a short nap and we were ready to tour Cusco main square.

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_edclr
Wow is it ever nice and the mountains that are surrounding us makes this a perfectly beautiful place spend an afternoon. We took in the main square and the beautiful architecture of this old city.

Next to the Choco Museo or the Chocolate museum where we were able to watch how they make the chocolate and smell it as is was being cooked.

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_zheua
Media_httplh6ggphtcom_wbxud
Media_httplh3ggphtcom_fzgem

Back out and around the city, time to get a little something to eat so we stopped at an out door café.

Media_httplh5ggphtcom_uakkl
One thing about being a tourist is that everybody wants to sell you something and we bought a few things and I was able to practice my Spanish and work on my negotiating abilities, living in Arequipa I know what some things should cost and some just was not worth the hassle so we bought them for the asking price.

IS THAT RAIN!

It is raining on us! I said to Donnia or a bird just flew over, nope it is rain, we have not seen rain in five and a half months it was so nice to walk in it. Big clouds in the sky and clean fresh air Cusco is a good place to visit.

Media_httplh6ggphtcom_cnbsc
Time to walk back to our hotel we could have grabbed a taxi but the walk is so nice, narrow streets and old city sidewalks make it a very pleasant walk back to our room at El Mirador Santa Ana we would recommend this hotel to anybody who would like to stay in Cusco.

Media_httplh5ggphtcom_hhaqb
Night has fallen and the city is quite but very pretty. The air has a chill in it and it is pouring down rain. One thing about being a missionary is that you must have an adventurous spirit willing to try new things and be willing to go into sometimes very unknown surroundings with a real trust that if God is for you who can be against you. We met many people today and even were able to bless some of them, Donnia and I are so thankful for all our partners because without you we could not be here.

We travel across the world on a shoe string sort of speak, many would not venture to go on a vacation to a nearby state with what is sometimes in our bank account, but GOD ……..but GOD always faithful to provide has and will and we will and do and will continue to do ……….

In Jesus Strong Name

Sun, 18 Sep 2011 14:37:00 -0700 Our Big News-AMI Moving To Cochabamba, Bolivia AMI Article “Does God Want Us To Prosper” http://alexanderministries.posterous.com/2011/09/our-big-news-ami-moving-to-cochabamba.html http://alexanderministries.posterous.com/2011/09/our-big-news-ami-moving-to-cochabamba.html

After everybody left to go back to the USA. Donnia and I had the blessed opportunity to SKYPE into our Church and give the big news.

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_xihjz
We are moving to Cochabamba, Bolivia in March. Why? I am so glad you ask. I have been ask to be the Dean of students at RHEMA Bible Training Center in Cochabamba. We are so excited to be a part of this ministry. When we were in Bolivia the first time I really liked it and hoped that some day I would be able to go back, but never thought about being able to live their or be part of RHEMA, God is so good.

A little about Cochabamba:

  •  Area – City 348 km2 (134.4 sq mi)
  • Elevation 2,574 m (8,445 ft)
  • Population (2008) – Urban 608,276

Media_httplh6ggphtcom_jsvfp
If you would like to know more about Cochabamba, you can read and see some photos on our website at AMI and if you would like to help us with the moving expenses that would be a blessing.

Donnia and I have been keeping busy with many things. I started a class in the Bible school (CEB) on “The Foundations of Faith” this was a two week course and it was very insightful, of course two weeks is not nearly enough but we were able to break into it.

After that class I started a new class on “Biblical Hermeneutics”  of course for each class I needed to make power points and have them in Spanish.

Media_httplh6ggphtcom_bdeyc
On Aug 20th every year I take Donnia to the place that we had our first date (by the way this is the date I ask her to marry me on) but because we were a few thousand miles a way I took her to a new place, on the roof top of a hotel overlooking the '”Plaza de Armas” in Arequipa. We were joined by our friends Jorge and Francy.

We have had one team in to stay a night with us and the next morning we fixed them breakfast.

I have been able to get up each morning and watch the day begin and take some time for my daily devotion I like to use the “Faith Food Devotional” by Kenneth E Hagin, then I read my bible usually the chapter or the book that was part of the devotion and then I try to read a book a week if possible. This week “The Everyday Visionary” by Jesse Duplantis.

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_vuste
We were so blessed to meet some new friends Tony and Rebecca Archer, who are also missionaries and friends & family with some of our friends in Florida that go to our Church Danny & Patty Dalrymple.

Philippians 2:3-4“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.”

DOES GOD WANT US TO PROSPER ?

Part 1

PROSPERITY the very word in some Christian circles makes many fighting mad.

I know a preacher that has in his home emeralds and diamonds and rubies and all kinds of jewelry even has pure pearl doors that lead into his yard. His home is well just a show place a real mansion he has many many servants that do all his bidding and are around him night and day. There is no way to tell how much this preacher is worth. I tell you what I am just going to give you his name and how you can get in-touch with him and you can ask him if it is right for a preacher to have all this wealth.

His name is Jehovah Jireh - The LORD Will Provide and his number is Genesis 22:14 His son is pretty well off too.

Your Prosperity is God’s idea and we should believe that just as we believe in salvation and healing and all the many gifts and promises of God. God is identified by many name and each one of them is a testimony of His goodness to us and what He is and wants to be to us.

El Elyon Most High - God is maker of heaven and earth (Genesis 14:17-20)

El Shaddi- Almighty God (Genesis 49:25)

El Olam- Everlasting God - We are secure because God lives after we die (Isaiah 40:28)

Jehovah- The one who is always present - Common name for God used 6,823 times (Genesis 2:4)

Jehovah-Nissi- The Lord is my banner - God gives victories (Exodus 17:15)

Jehovah-Shalom- The Lord is Peace - God brings inner harmony and peace (Judges 6:24)

Jehovah-Tsidkenu- The Lord our righteousness - The righteous one makes his people righteous (Jeremiah 23:6)

Adonai- Master, Lord - God has total authority (Psalms 2:4)

Jehovah- Jireh- the LORD will provide (Gen. 22:14)

Jehovah Shammah- the LORD is there presence; hence peace, security, glory, blessing (Ezek. 48:35)

Jehovah M'kadesh-``Lord our sanctifier" (or the Lord who makes you holy) and signifies that God is the one who sets people apart and makes them holy. (Exodus 31:13; Leviticus 20:8)

Jehovah Rapha- The LORD Who Heals You: (Exodus 15:26). Adonai is the Great Physician and the ultimate source of all healing - spiritual, physical, emotional, mental.

Jehovah Raah-(rohi) means the ``Lord our Shepherd" and denotes God's loving care, protection and provision for His people. (Psalm 23:1)

God Wants Us to Prosper and next time we will look at some of the scriptures in the Bible of what God says about Biblical Prosperity.

Well the house is quite ( well pretty much Ms.Cathy is still sleeping) no big breakfast to fix this morning,no sound of the joy and laughter that was brought into our home when the missionaries from Winter Haven Worship Center Emerge Youth Team landed in Peru.

But the day that they left we had a blast…………….so take a moment and share with us some of the sights that will be forever imprinted into the hearts of those who came to share the love of Jesus in Arequipa,Peru.

Wed, 17 Aug 2011 04:19:00 -0700 WHWC LAST DAY OF MINISTRY IN PERU http://alexanderministries.posterous.com/2011/08/whwc-last-day-of-ministry-in-peru.html http://alexanderministries.posterous.com/2011/08/whwc-last-day-of-ministry-in-peru.html

Well today is the last day of an awesome and anointed week of ministry that has been done by the team from WHWC. Today is going to be a full day for sure we are going to two public schools (that is allowed here in this country) to minister and preach and do the drama, after that we will go to the orphanage of Jose & Gloria called the “House of the Love of God” as soon as dinner is served and over the team will go for the grand finish of the outstanding teaching that has been done a CEB by Mrs.Cathy Bentley.

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_whiaj
The day started early with D & me fixing bacon & French Toast, Lew came down a little later to finish up the bacon…(he is feeling much better) Donnia got all the condiments set out and in no time we were ready for the rush. When you can feed 35 people in less then 15 minutes it is really a flow.

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_ijcii
I didn't appreciate the restaurant business so much when I was having to do it but I am thankful now for the experience, and doing it now is so much more fun. We had an Awesome dish team today as you can see – I really think they have done this a few times before-….

Media_httplh5ggphtcom_zfdxl
We did not have to leave until about 10:30 so some of the gang decided to take advantage of the time by doing something they enjoyed. And I just happen to have my camera ready so I figures they were fair game.

When everything was ready we all left for the first school and then to the Home of Gods Love orphanage. The second school canceled so we would spend more time at the first then to the orphanage that is run by Jose and Gloria Ingles. But first I and Juliana had to go to Totus food store to order and pick up 15 rotisserie chickens so we took a taxi and went ahead and the bus would come in a little while and pick us up on the way to the school. We will walk from the orphanage to the school as it is just a block from the orphanage. </p><table cellspacing=" />

At the public school where the WHWC team will perform the dramas and give an alter call and even Ms.Cathy will teach we are not only allowed but asked by the public schools to come and do these things.

After a wonderful time at the school we went back to the The Hose of the Love of God orphanage. While here we heard a testimony from Jose about the school and the miracles God has done for them and for the children.

Soon the children are coming in and they are so excited to take everyone around and see the facility they so happily call home. So each child there are 25 takes a teen or two by the hand and walks around showing them their rooms and everything God has blessed them with.

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_rjfnx
While some of the others prepared the food, remember the 15 chickens, well this will be a real treat as they do not get food like this to often. The time has come and you should see the smiling faces as they bring out the rotisserie chicken and rice.
Media_httplh4ggphtcom_wdcao

As soon as all had eaten it was fun time first the kids wanted to perform a couple of new dances they made and choreographed and they made special new dresses for themselves as well.

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_hcfac
The first dance was a dance of Praise and Glory to God done by the younger children and the next one was preformed by the older ones and it was a dance to show their love for God and for the team that came from the United States to be with them.

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_marff
Wen they were done our group from WHWC came forward to do all the dramas and the children were captivated. Then is was soccer time and the game was on. Soon though it was time to leave and say goodbye, each of the children found a gift of something they held as special and gave it to the youth group so that they could remember them perhaps a doll or a stuffed dog.

On the bus and to the mission house where Donnia and Maria and Jemima had a hot meal all ready of chicken and potatoes with cold ice tea on the table. Then it was time to go to the last class with Ms.Cathy.

Media_httplh5ggphtcom_gumre
Tonight was special and Elizabeth had the school all decorated for the group with balloons and banners. Cathy finished her teaching on the anti-Christ and then it was time to teach the Jewish wedding feast. Pastor Jorge and his faience Francy and some of the young people from his church all came.

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_hjbmm
When Cathy started to teach I was chose as the Father & Pastor Jorge was chose to be my son and the groom and Francy was the bride and Lew and Mariesa were the father and mother of the bride.

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_leeeg
Everybody was full of joy and laughter filled the room with this teaching, then when the wedding part came Pastor Jorge really played it up and of course it all ended with a feast and wedding cake that Cathy had arranged to be brought in so everybody could have a piece of cake.

When we got back home Cathy and I and Donnia made a big pot of potato soup with the leftovers from dinner and of course we did not have any trouble getting anybody to eat it. When done somebody grabbed a guitar and started to play and then singing broke out and the presence of the Lord filled the house once again………….

This has been the most awesome and wonderful experience for all. Many were saved and healed the harts of the team here will be changed forever and missions will forever be a part of the team from Winter Haven Worship Center.

God is so good to all of us.

We THANK all the parents and Pastor Tim and Pastor Jeff and all the fine people of WHWC that made this trip a reality.

Thank You

In Jesus Strong Name

Darrell & Donnia

Tue, 16 Aug 2011 01:36:00 -0700 WINTER HAVE WORSHIP CENTER DAY 5 http://alexanderministries.posterous.com/2011/08/winter-have-worship-center-day-5.html http://alexanderministries.posterous.com/2011/08/winter-have-worship-center-day-5.html

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_suwfj
Another fine day in Peru with the team from WHWC the air is crisp and the sun is just coming up to smile on the earth. Time for D & I to get the morning started with some hot pancakes and juice for one of the finest most enjoyable teams that has been here since Donnia and I have been helping with and we have helped with all of them.

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_ytljo
After breakfast it was time to round up the volunteers to wash the dishes. This morning some fine young men who now have provided their parents with documented proof they can wash the dishes………..

Today is going to be a little lighter then the past ones have been. Today is the 15th and it is the anniversary of Arequipa.

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_flhjf
Each August the famed White City of Arequipa celebrates its founding anniversary in remarkable fashion.  The main days are August 11th to the 14th, but the party actually begins weeks in advance. There´s a sillar stonework and metalwork contest, an international folklore dance
Media_httplh3ggphtcom_upiaa
festival, beauty contests, and outdoor musical performances.  On the main day, August 15th, is the main annual parade, the Corso, or Friendship Parade. So everything is closed and the whole city goes to the parade.

The group is going to go to

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_occar
one of the orphanages and help for the first part of the day doing some hard manual labor, moving dirt. This orphanage will be the second for Jose and Gloria it will be for the teen girls. The grounds are almost done and will soon be ready to start getting everybody in and set. This was not going to be an easy day but is will be a productive one.

Media_httplh6ggphtcom_oavme
Everybody worked hard, even the security guard that gave his life to Jesus on the first night got involved it was wonderful.

Lunch will be served on the grounds so that means sandwiches and chips and lots of water.

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_ehvgi
After the work at the orphanage it was time to come back to the mission house and get some R&R everybody gets a shower and then the rest of the day will be for resting and some much needed down time. Some decided to nap some to watch a few Church on the Move videos I had and others took time to catch up with some bible study.
Media_httplh3ggphtcom_jrlaw

Media_httplh5ggphtcom_rgzoa
All the while the house was being filled with the smells of lunch being prepared by Jemima and today it is pollo-saltado what is that, I am glad you ask.

1 lb. chicken
2 onions, sliced in strips
2 tomatoes, peeled and cut into lg. pieces
1 hot pepper, cleaned and cut in strips
Chopped parsley
Salt and pepper to taste

Media_httplh6ggphtcom_wacju
Cut heat into small pieces or strips and brown in oil. Add remaining ingredients and cook until tender. Serve with 1 pound French-fried potatoes and rice. Oh sooooooooooo good if you think it is easy to lose weight here you would be wrong. Dinner is served and it was a big hit and I think their may be some moms making some pollo-saltado in the states and it can be made with beef as well.

About 7 pm it was time for devotions and Pastor Tim bought some strings for guitar Lew had and the house was filled with praise and singing and testimonies and a powerful time of prayer.

Come tomorrow it is going to be a full day and it will be all day……..preaching,teaching,drama and some fun everybody is doing good and it is so much fun having them all here when they leave in a few days Lew and Mariesa will leave the next day and Donnia and I will be here.

It is going to be really quite but we have a full schedule of preaching and traveling to do before we come back to the states ourselves.

Mon, 15 Aug 2011 03:32:00 -0700 WHWC Update Day Four–Sunday http://alexanderministries.posterous.com/2011/08/whwc-update-day-foursunday.html http://alexanderministries.posterous.com/2011/08/whwc-update-day-foursunday.html

This is going to be a great day for sure Donnia and I are up and ready to get our part done, Mariesa made 3 Oatmeal Bakes Donnia made a fruit plate and cut a fresh water melon and the team made it go away.

Media_httplh6ggphtcom_ydaie
After breakfast Donnia has made a list of the ones who want to volunteer to help with the clean up after breakfast today it was a great team to help by washing the dishes. These guy & gals are the best no complaints and no problems they just jump in and do whatever is needed and I tell you this was not expected at all.

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_yaaaq
8:30 and time to head out the door to go to Pastor Mitacc’s Church before the service the team is going to go and do some door to door evangelism and encourage and give tracts to whom ever they can a home or a business they are getting an invitation to know Jesus today.

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_sfahe

Media_httplh5ggphtcom_efetg

Media_httplh6ggphtcom_ivugs
The service is full of life and Pastor Mitacc is so gracious, his daughter Elizabeth and the singers brought everybody to a place of worship and then after a few announcements she came back out with her traditional dress and preformed a dance of her culture, everybody liked it.

Up to the

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_ehadb
microphone stepped the man of God and the anointing was present to heal and set free in the house as Pastor Tim brought the a word of faith, it was the right message at the right time and was well received by the people.

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_mihnc
After he preached he had a healing line and many responded as the youth team and Pastor Tim ministered by the laying on of hands. Reports for the many of the ones prayed for said God healed them and it was plain to see this on their faces.

Head-em-up & move-em-out it was time to go back to the mission house for some lunch.

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_usgto

Donnia cooked an awesome

meal of Sour Cream Enchiladas with tomato & onion and lettuce on the side, chips and salsa, I only helped her.

When the teens got up for breakfast they were already asking about the lunch so we know to make a bunch. Well we made 62 when the door opened the enchilada song was being sung by Lexi with the whole team they were ready for some food.

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_iuakh

Like a rushing mighty wind they came through, it was a blast Cathy help me serve and we served and we served and then in a matter of what seemed like minutes the whirlwind of ravenous veraciousides had ended and not one Enchilada was to be seen..it was amazing.

After lunch we made sure that nothing had been eaten apart from the food and the good news everybody still had all the parts they came with and it was time to was the dishes and clean up to get ready for the dinner tonight which is already being highly anticipated so I am told…………I am making a big Big BIg pot of spaghetti.

Media_httplh6ggphtcom_iheba
So it was time to head out the door to Pastora Paula’s church do do the street evangelism and and dramas. These guys are getting this down to a science now and it is being very effective.

Back to the mission house and time for dinner………….this should be fun.

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_iftnj
This pot of spaghetti was full and before you knew it it had been consumed. Everybody seemed to enjoy the food and the fun during dinner a sudden shout went up from the group, it seems that Lexi had a problem with her had and a whole group rushed to her aid laid hands and prayed for her and she was instantly healed.

As soon as dinner was over Donnia and I started to clean up and about that time Pastor Jorge called and said he felt that he needed to come and help us clean up I said that was wonderful because the teens had to go to a church and could not help tonight and Donnia and I were so tired, he came he helped he brought chocolate cake………..WOW.

Media_httplh6ggphtcom_yabli

While he was here Cathy and Jorge and his girlfriend Francy had a little bible study.

Media_httplh5ggphtcom_yflpc
The group went to a church in the higher area of Arequipa and it was going to be cold but they would get to see a unique church worship in the area of the Inca’s.

This church is Pastored by Pastor Don Ladda he and his wife have been here for 12 or 15 years the church is four stories high and has took about 10 years to build.

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_cmcbj
Pastor Tim brought a strong message and when the alter call was given he ask “if you want to come forth for prayer come when I count to three” before he could count people begin rushing to the front.

Everybody is back somewhat tired but very happy. Each night I look forward to the time of devotions and testimonies that the whole youth participate in they are always inspiring and full of faith and thankfulness for the things God has done through the day and also full of anticipation of what is to come tomorrow.

Sun, 14 Aug 2011 03:45:00 -0700 WHWC Team Day 3–8/13/2011 http://alexanderministries.posterous.com/2011/08/whwc-team-day-38132011.html http://alexanderministries.posterous.com/2011/08/whwc-team-day-38132011.html

Media_httplh6ggphtcom_kqxef
5:30 am and it’s time to make the donuts, well I this case scrambled eggs and ham and sausage. About 6:30 Lew came down and by 7 we had the food on the table. The whole team is so easy to please and take care of and when the food is done we have so much help in the kitchen that we had to make a list of who was going to help do the cleaning next, this was not planned at all but what a huge blessing.
Media_httplh6ggphtcom_mclvn

After breakfast and clean up it was time to get the day started. And today is going to be a long day for sure.

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_menyg
First stop the market to get some fruit to take to Peruarbo the feeding center run by Geuliana. Oranges and Apples the kids love them and don’t get them to often.

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_jmxsr
It is a dry and dirty place where some of the children that live there have never seen or had a shower they simply wash of with a rag or sponge. It looks like a waste land with no trees and nothing but rock where just about everybody from 8 years old and up work in the mines.

We loved on the kids and went to two parks in the area where the team played games and ministered with song and puppet skits and then gave an invitation for prayer. After the first park we went to another one in the area and did the same to a new group of waiting adults and children.

The team did really well with the dramas and were really well received. People were standing in their doorways praying and on the roof tops watching. When it was time to leave Pastor Tim ask the team from WHWC to pray over the area.

WHWC Youth Missionaries in Peruarbo Peru

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_rumva
Next stop Lunch time we all gathered in the bus and headed to Arequipa again to eat but this time instead of going to the mission house we headed to a restaurant Turistico Tres Marias where we ordered a verity of foods including CUY (Guinea Pig) and everybody was able to try new things. What kind of things …………….

  • Rocoto relleno
Media_httplh3ggphtcom_iddja
  • Chupe de camarones
Media_httplh6ggphtcom_dddca
  • Chicharrón de chancho
Media_httplh4ggphtcom_mazfg
  • Lomo saltado

and of course……

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_ihiao
  • Cuy chactado
Media_httplh4ggphtcom_xeawz

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_bzddk
When they brought out the Cuy everybody was looking and then wanted to be the first to try it. So they dug in, yep they dug in the head and the eyes and the whole body of the Cuy and everything else as well.

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_bfhcm
Next it was time to head to The Real Plaza which is a shopping mall here in Arequipa to do ministry in the mall with Pastor Jorge and the people of his Church Ministerios Buenas Nuevas to do drama in the mall and hand out tracks and share the gospel, this went really well we even had the police come and was very interested in them his statement to me was “this is a very interesting people”.

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_fixcf

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_cneqf

Media_httplh6ggphtcom_raicd
In the food court one woman was handed a track and she came running to one of the team crying and asking if she would please pray for her and her husband so right in the food court with the help of minister Roy she was touched by the Spirit of God.

Media_httplh5ggphtcom_evywv
After the mall it was time to go to the Plaza de Armus to evangelize their and then down to another mall. The dramas the team did were awesome and drew large groups to watch it was kind of funny to be walking in the behind the team as Donnia and I did because you could track where they were by the people we were meeting each one had a track in their hand and was reading it.

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_ppywk
This outing with Ministerios Buenas Nuevas and his young people was very exciting and the youth loved it big time.

Then time to come back to the mission house eat dinner (which everybody was still kind of full from lunch) but they manage to scarf down a couple of pots of meat balls & rice and peas and carrots.

After the clean up Lew took them to the Plaza to do a little shopping and see the downtown area all light up at night.

Tomorrow Donnia and I will be cooking all day breakfast, lunch and dinner, while the team goes to a couple of Churches and also to do more street ministry.

Breakfast-Lunch & Dinner what were we thinking……………….

Media_httplh5ggphtcom_asfav
Well today is the second day for the team from WHWC to be here and the first day was outstanding. Today the day will start at 5:30 to cook breakfast todays menu is pancakes & sausage and fresh fruit or toast hat and cold cereals with juices, coffee & water.

Donnia and I were up and cooking, in just a little while Lew came to help and by 7 am the food was on the table.

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_bgedf
The team is able to sit out on the patio in the fresh air with the beautiful mountain El Misti in the background. It is good to hear the joy of the Lord with singing that will just break out and fill the air.

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_vafdh
As soon as the food disappeared, does not take long kind of like a small hurricane that sweeps through the kitchen. It was time to do a little planning for the events of the day. Pastor Tim has it all together as he gets everybody involved. This is the first time I have been able to work with Pastor Tim and what an honor to be with him at this time.

Media_httplh6ggphtcom_ikvqq
After the meeting it was time to load the bus and go to the mountain to a fine school run by Elizabeth Damaris Mitacc Hoyos the daughter of Pastor Mitacc. Today it will be a lot of fun and with games and dance and balloons and puppets (I really like puppets) and a few skits. When we arrived at the school everybody was so excited and the children at the school were excited too………..
Media_httplh5ggphtcom_xmbrd

Break out the puppets and the music, some balloons and a lot of hot air and we have an outdoor crusade going on.

Soon it was time to load back up and head to another preschool in the Church of Pastor Mitacc, operated by his wife for some more drama and oh yes Puppets!! Oh and face painting and sometimes not just the face got painted……………..

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_iffis
Media_httplh4ggphtcom_kszvb

Well at least it is something up there……., LOL

1 Corinthians 6:19-20“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.”

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_gwnrs
The team prayed for many in both schools. Oh and by the way the security guard that got saved last night he looked so happy this morning and we had our friend Pastor Jorge give him three minis books by Bro.  Kenneth E Hagin ln  Spanish called “Palabras” –Words & “En Él” – In Him and of course El Porqué De Las Lenguas - Why Tongues, these books are supplied by AMI free of charge if you would like to help us with our book project that would be awesome.

After the second outing with the team it was time to head um up and move um out to the house for lunch. And what a lunch we had Peruvian meal called Causa.

Media_httplh6ggphtcom_fhaof
Causa is one of the most popular dishes all along Peru's coast. Besides being delicious, the traditional causa is fairly economic and easy to prepare, making it accessible to the rich and the poor, great chefs and terrible cooks. Moreover, it's a versatile dish that allows for many variations, both in the purée and in the fillings.

The following is the classic recipe, a potatoes and ají amarillo mash filled with tuna and avocado.

Ingredients:

•               1kg potatoes (yellow, if available)

•               4 tbsp ají amarillo paste

•               ½ cup vegetable oil (olive oil not recommended)

•               Juice 1 key lime

•               1 can of tuna-fish packed in oil

•               ½ onion, finely chopped

•               1 cup mayonnaise

•               1 avocado

•               Salt

Preparation:

Boil the potatoes in salted water. Peel and mash while still hot (enough to handle). Let cool and mix thoroughly with the ají amarillo paste, vegetable oil, and lime juice. Salt to taste.

Mix the tuna with the chopped onions and mayonnaise.

Place a layer of the potato mash on a serving dish, and spread with a thin film of mayonnaise. Cut the avocado in slices and lay on the first layer of potato mash. Spread a second layer of potato mash, and cover with the tuna mayonnaise. Cover with a last layer of potatoes, and decorated with slices of hard boiled eggs and black olives.

Tip: try variations of the filling using (instead of tuna) crab-meat, shrimps, octopus in olive, or (for vegetarians) plain tomato slices.

After lunch we watched a video Lew had made of the teams first day, and it was great and everybody watched it three or four times.

Media_httplh5ggphtcom_fadyr
Then time to go back out this time to the Orphanage of David Bolos for more puppets, skits and to play with the children. After this they will board the bus to come back to the mission house eat dinner at 5:00 pm then load back up to go to CEB for tonight's class with Ms.Cathy. They did the skits and played soccer and ministries to the children and shared the love of Jesus as only they could.

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_vmaah

Media_httplh6ggphtcom_scjpp

Media_httplh6ggphtcom_gpcjo
Cathy finished up with the book of revelation tonight and we will be back in class on Tuesday.

And then we get to do it all again………………

Media_httplh6ggphtcom_rfmaz
The team from Winter Haven Worship Center has arrived and all is so well. As they came in off of the bus one could plainly see the eagerness and excitement to be here and to make an impact on Peru.

Media_httplh5ggphtcom_suesb

The energy of this team is apparent to everyone that is anywhere close to them.

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_zfead
This will be awesome.

As they came in and put the luggage down (WOW so much luggage)

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_ilohk

Media_httplh5ggphtcom_wkhmi
We had a light snack for them and a bottle of water to which they had to write their name on. A few words of instruction. After the snack it was time to jump right into the work of the ministry that they came here to do. On the bus a season of prayer while on the way to the plaza.

Media_httplh5ggphtcom_lfcna
In the plaza to do some street drama and evangelism, hand out tracks and preach the gospel. While in the plaza the teens did several dramas which drew a good crowd of people all hungry to hear what these young north Americans had to say, and they had plenty to say.

Media_httplh6ggphtcom_yiefb
With a time of handing out tracks and witnessing they stepped up to do the dramas when done with the dramas everybody started clapping and Pastor Tim spoke the word and then threw out the net for the catch.

Media_httplh6ggphtcom_dsqiz
People responded and many were prayed for. Some received salvation others were healed and some just needed the touch of the Lord from someone that really cared.

Soon it was back on the bus and back to the house for lunch! And what a great lunch was waiting cooked by one of the ladies from here in Arequipa all the team ate and then ate a little more but still we had plenty of food left so no one left hungry. As soon as lunch was served and finished it was time to head to the Bible School for the night seminar on Revelation taught by Ms. Cathy Bentley.

The teaching was as always OUTSTANDING even though the team had been on a plane for two days without much rest every eye was on Cathy and the atmosphere was filled with anticipation.

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_gxtxj

Before the teaching Pastor Tim greeted the people and spoke a little and ask Lexi to give her testimony of how the Lord Jesus had healed her kidneys and how God was a good God and if He would do it for her He will do it for you now, today. After she spoke Pastor then admonished the people to be expecting for God to meet them tonight right where they are to get just what they need.

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_hmsaf
Then a time of praise and worship to set the room to receive the ministry for this night.
Media_httplh5ggphtcom_afepd
Cathy spoke the word

with boldness and Sarai translated with excellence.

After the her ministry it was time to reach out to those in the room to receive from Jesus. The invitation was given “Are you ready to go to heaven if you were called tonight?”

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_vzdcd
A young child came up with his mother he wanted to make sure and Pastor Tim prayed with him but then the security guard that is with the team came forward and said he wanted to receive Jesus as his savior and Lord!!! And he did.
Media_httplh6ggphtcom_badpk

Then Pastor Jorge Benavides one of the local RHEMA Pastors here said he had a word in his spirit from the Lord, he spoke out something to the team from the states and said “someone in the group is here and has a conflict in them and was in turmoil on the inside but God was going to make a change in them this week and all doubts they were having will be answered and all will be well” this word was with a strong anointing and well received.

Media_httplh5ggphtcom_wqfin
Time to go back to the mission house and and for everybody to get some much needed rest as the day will start early and last all day, but the fruit will be awesome and lives will be changed forever.

And on this night some went home with a new heart ready for heaven and with well bodies touched by love and the power of God.

We had the pleasure of meeting in Pastor Espinoza’s Church as he was the host pastor. Early Saturday morning we got up and ready for the ride over the curvy roads to Camana, there were 9 of us in the van and we were ready. It is about a 3 hour trip with much to see as the landscape is very pretty.

Once there we went to our hotel and waited for the Pastor to come and meet with us so we could get an idea of what he was expecting and he could get to know us a little. He explained that Camana is about 14 thousand and only a small percent of the people where Christians so it is really a mission field.

Media_httplh6ggphtcom_ijvjr
He also advised that many cults have come into the area and were attracting many of the young people and that he had really been praying for a team to come and help him in the work.

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_fyjca

After we met with the pastor we ate some sandwiches we had brought and fellowshipped a little and then because Camana is a costal town we wanted to go to the ocean before the service started as we had about 5 hours or so. Cathy and Sarai stayed behind but the rest of us headed to the beach and the Pacific ocean.

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_bnbyn
Camana is a shore town that is most preferred in the south of Peru, known for its beautiful beaches.  It is a lovely destination, especially between December and March, with waves that are ideal for fighting off the heat and enjoying the most delicious fish of the Pacific.
Noted for one of the most touristic and efficient infrastructures, Camaná, the capital of the province with the same name, was founded in 1539 by Don Garci Manuel of Carvajal, who baptized the city as ¨The beautiful villa of Camaná.

Ministry in Camana Peru
Luke 12:6-7“Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.”

Media_httplh5ggphtcom_xtjhl
It was nice to see the ocean again and the sandy beaches,Donnia had not been to a beach since we left Florida I had been to Camana the day after we arrived in Peru for a campaign we had done earlier in March. I was very happy that Donnia was able to go this time she is an excellent ministry partner to say the least.

After the beach we went back to the hotel and started to prepare for the night service we are expecting really good things to come from our time in these meetings.

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_jioai
The first night the Church was full and people seemed to be really expecting and faith was in the house. The music team for the Church was very good and the worship was alive and vibrant.
Media_httplh6ggphtcom_gacii
When the worship

ended they started the service right away and gave it to Cathy she started out with the word the Lord had given her with brand new power points and drama and laughing and a good anointing,it was nice to be back under her ministry again as she brought forth a strong warning with love and gentleness.

Media_httplh6ggphtcom_juiit
Cathy gave an invitation for whoever would like to be filled with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues about 150 people came forward it was amazing she ask me to speak a little on the subject and then we would all minister to them I taught a little on how to be filled and what they needed to do, how it was not about emotion but faith and they will receive tonight.
Media_httplh4ggphtcom_fashw

The next morning we went to breakfast and then to the Church for the Pastor gave us the whole day starting at 8 am for the first session then we broke and had a communion service then right back to teaching until about 1:30 with an invitation for healing many came and the healer was in the house and many were healed and touched of the Lord.

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_amfpv

Back to the hotel for some lunch and rest and to prepare for the night service. Lew was to be up first and then Cathy was to wrap it up, she spoke on the importance of the Father in the house and the importance of keep our house clean both the spiritual house and the physical house to get the sin out and keep full of the Spirit of God.

Media_httplh5ggphtcom_bhdvc
That night ended with all of the Church coming forth to dedicate themselves to purity of heart and to clean house, the Pastor led them in a powerful time of prayer and praise singing the high praises of God.

The next morning we were up early for some breakfast and to head back to Arequipa. Before we went home we took some time to see the town and have a little fun then it was time to go but first we were had to make another stop at the beach for Cathy and Sarai then back in the van and on the road to home to get ready for the WHWC team to come in just a few days.

I was so honored to preach the first Campmeeting that is to be an annual event for Pastor Jorge Benavides. We had some awesome meetings. Donnia was ask to sing and she was such a great blessing to all.

The speakers for the Campmeeting were Missionary/Teacher Charles Dean of Charles Dean Ministries and he also did the translating for much of the times I spoke, Pastor Jorge Benavides spoke as well and minister Roy Benavente.

Speaking twice a day once in the morning and then the last service in the evening.  During the morning sessions one of the Pastors would speak then Charles and then I would teach. My theme was The Blessing, The Word & The Glory.

Media_httplh5ggphtcom_eadrj
This teaching was on Faith and Words that will produce the glory in our life, the glory of an apple tree are apples and the glory of God was man and when we pray and speak our answer is the glory or the substance of our prayer and speaking.

I taught as the scripture shows us prayer is good and we should pray but we must talk right and not undo what has been prayed by the things we let come out of our mouth. Sometimes we have to say it and not pray it, there is a time to pray and then a time to say.

Media_httplh5ggphtcom_cdtae
During the night sessions it was Holy Ghost meeting with people being saved and healed and and renewed in their faith. Many gifts of the Spirit worked through all the speakers.

Media_httplh5ggphtcom_ovbop
We prayed for the sick and for those who were bound and for the one that had a call to the ministry. Words for the Lord cam forth and we probably don’t know half of what the Lord done for people

Media_httplh5ggphtcom_cqfag
Brother Charles Dean spoke on “The Basics of Faith” it was so very good and much needed. The Lord had impressed him some time back to get back to the basics of faith. I also had this same word from the Lord just before moving to Peru. Jesus spoke to my heart and said to go back to wells my fathers had dug and I knew He meant back to faith, confession, words and what we say and the teaching of who we are in Christ.

Psalm 149:4“For the LORD takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with victory.”

Media_httplh5ggphtcom_sweqn
Charles taught we all have the same amount of mussels but some are more exercised then others and it is the same with faith we all have the measure of faith (Rom 12:3) For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith the NKJV says it a different way and it makes the scripture here as if some may have been give more then others it says this (dealt to each one a measure of faith) this would mean some may have been given more faith and to another less and this is not the case, only some are more developed then others in theirs.

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_hzagi
Pastor Jorge spoke on the five fold ministry gift offices and how they are to be in the Church the function and the unction. He spoke of the power of our words and on “What real faith is”.
Media_httplh6ggphtcom_lmwte

All the speakers were outstanding and I was built up in my faith during the week.

Media_httplh5ggphtcom_rbqcf
Donnia brought an anointed song each night that brought the flow of the Spirit in like a fresh breeze the people were blessed and Jesus was exalted.

Media_httplh5ggphtcom_ceadd
In my opinion the newsletter Charles Dean Ministries sent out after the Campmeeting was outstanding and if you are not receiving it we encourage you to write and ask to be on it today, just follow the link to his site. So with that being said I want to add some of his newsletter into this blog.

Excerpts from Charles Dean Ministries newsletter.

Here are a few quotes from Rev. Darrell and myself:

"The most dangerous enemy to the Word of God is tradition." -Rev. Darrell

"The reason most Christians don't do anything to develop their faith is because they are lazy!" -Rev. Charles

"Traditional understanding of the Word will rob you of the full manifestation of God's promises." -Rev. Darrell

"The key to operating the faith of God is having faith in your mouth and faith in your heart at the same time." -Rev. Charles

"The Word of God is a seed that, when planted in your heart, will produce tangible results, or glory, in your life." -Rev. Darrell

" The God-kind of faith is the kind of faith that says with its mouth what it believes in its heart and things come to pass." Rev. Charles

The Lord has me experiencing again a flow of the Spirit in the area of “The Word of Knowledge” and with a much stronger healing anointing that God has been allowing me to flow in.  On one of the nights the Lord spoke to me about a person having cancer in her immediate family and that they were in much fear over it, so I held this until the next night and took some time before moving with this.

When I spoke this out the end of the service the next night two people raised their hand, one was a woman whose father had lung cancer and the other was a young mans uncle the father is who I had in my spirit as the one needing the touch of God, but we of course ministered to both.

Next event is to go to Camana, Peru again this time with Cathy Bentley, Lew Davis, Pastor Mitacc, myself and Donnia and Jose Ingles and Josué Cateriano. Cathy and Elaine and Sarai will be arriving from the EE UU in the morning and we will be going the next day.

Many of the members of the Church were going to go to the South

of Peru at the end of the Camp Meeting two by two and to do short evangelism/missions trip. So they were charged up in their faith and Pastor had them pray for each other and announced where they were going to go.

The next blog will be about the Camana Campaign which we will have by the time this blog is posted.

Matthew 19:14“Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

It has been a busy week at the mission house. The team from Alabama has been busy, busy, busy. And so have all of here at the mission house.

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_qidfi
Me and Donnia and Lew have been up early fixing the breakfasts and Jemima and Maria have been knocking it out of the park with lunches.

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_ygppi
Mariesa has been going with the teams to all the places they had to go like the orphanage of Jose & Gloria Ingles. This team did a lot of manual labor at these orphanages and the kids will be so blessed to have the new home for the teens.

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_njuef

The good news is that Bro. Lew has been allowed back to the big table to eat with everybody. (see previous post for more information)

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_dneef

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_nuzcj

One night everybody got around the table and played the game “catch phrase” and wow talk about competitive but it was a lot of fun.

Media_httplh6ggphtcom_eijjn
One of the team Ms. Dottie had a birthday and of course we had to all celebrate and eat cake.We wish her a very Happy Birthday.

While the team from Alabama was here we went to a local restaurant called Sol de Mayo or The May Sun and everybody had some typical Peruvian food.

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_orclu
I was able to try Cuy for the first time it was good and of course it did “Taste Like Chicken” This was a fun night for everybody.

TIME TO SAY GOOD BYE TO EVERYONE…………

Media_httplh6ggphtcom_oeyia
We had to say see you latter to Steve also as he was on his way to Chile on his next mission adventure, he was really a big help and blessing to all of us here and he will be thought of often.

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_hqfox
Deysi also left as her class at CEB was finished but she will be back in December. She has a bus ride of about 30 hours over these roads. “Worlds Most Dangerous Road” But before she left she made the most awesome chocolate cake!!!!

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_pgojh
And then it came time for The Northside Community Church team from Eufaula, Alabama to leave and head back home. The were a great group and one of the easiest teams to work with and worked so hard and really got a lot done in such a short time.

TIME TO GET BUSY AGAIN…………….

as the end of the month is drawing near. In a few days on the 28th of July I will be speaking twice a day at a Winter Bible Seminar in Arequipa. I will be preaching tomorrow at a local Church and then August will be here, and the team from WHWC is coming.

Media_httplh6ggphtcom_ghels
Before they get here Lew and I and my precious friend whom I love so much Ms. Cathy Bentley and one of the students from CEB and Pastor Mitacc will be going to Camana to hold a seminar.

So as you can see the money you send goes to good work and the gospel is being preached and lives are being changed. Please continue to pray for Donnia and I and if the Lords leads you to be a partner with us please write and we will send you all the information.

Until next time many blessings….In Jesus Strong Name

Sun, 17 Jul 2011 21:40:00 -0700 Darrell and Donnia are now Official in Peru / Mission Team From Eufaula Alabama Arrives http://alexanderministries.posterous.com/2011/07/darrell-and-donnia-are-now-official-in.html http://alexanderministries.posterous.com/2011/07/darrell-and-donnia-are-now-official-in.html

Monday morning and Donnia and I are ready for a good week, we are preparing for the team from Alabama to arrive on Friday from Eufaula.

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_vafgg
Eufaula is located at 31°53'21.732" North, 85°9'13.586" West (31.889370, -85.153774).

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 73.5 square miles (190.3 km2), of which, 59.4 square miles (153.9 km2) of it is land and 14.1 square miles (36.4 km2) of it (19.13%) is water. It sits on a reservoir called Walter F. George Lake, or just Lake Eufaula to locals.

Beginning no later than 1733, the site along the Chattahoochee River that is now modern-day Eufaula was occupied by three Creek tribes of the Muscogee Nation. The most dominant of the three, and most open to contact with whites, was named "the Eufaulas" (pronounced "you-fall-uhs.") In 1823, families from Georgia, looking for fertile crop land, established a permanent white settlement on the high bluffs of the area and adopted the Creek village's name.

Media_httplh5ggphtcom_lacoj
In 1964, the Eufaula National Wildlife Refuge was established along Lake Walter F. George to serve and protect many endangered and threatened species such as the American Bald Eagle, the American Alligator, the wood stork and the peregrine falcon. The refuge is a major tourist attraction for visitors from around the country.

So we had a planning meeting to go over last minute schedule changes (The chief of schedules, one Mariesa Davis) said she had a few changes we were all so surprised by this
Media_httplh4ggphtcom_tpkrg

We have learned if the schedule is 30 minutes old it has changed. As you can see we all w

ere busy…..wait where is Lew? ……….. the photo has been snapped and we are now in prayer for Lew as Mariesa did not know she was having her picture taken as you can see the intersession continues for our brother…………..

Tuesday

(We are now Official)

Donnia and I are informed that our carnets are ready to be picked up. Praise God this is a blessing we now have our residence visa cards it cost about $1900 to get these but it is worth it to our ministry. So a flight to Lima for a few hours and we are back home that night. Pastor Jorge met us at the airport with Francy then we went to the house and picked up Steve and went to get some Anticuchos.

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_ocjgq
Anticuchos are popular and inexpensive dishes that originated in Peru, and popular also in other Andean states consisting of small pieces of grilled skewered meat. Anticuchos can be readily found on street-carts and street food stalls (anticucheras). The meat may be marinated in vinegar and spices (such as cumin, aji pepper and garlic), and while anticuchos can be made of any type of meat, the most popular are made of beef heart (anticuchos de corazon). Anticuchos often come with a boiled potato or bread on the end of the skewer

Media_httplh5ggphtcom_cqeju
Sitting in Pastor Jorge’s car we ate our Anticuchos and potato's (this is the way drive in is here) and were going to go to Tingo and get a local desert but they were closed so we all decided to got to “The News Café” and have desert because we are celebrating Donnia and getting our cards.

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_szmfc
So we sat and talked and ate and really had a good time of fellowship and introduced Steve to some real Peruvian food.

Wednesday

Up early to finish cleaning the house and we all have to go to Franko’s to get the groceries for the incoming team. We all jump into our taxi and off we go. Wow buying for a team of 14 is no easy task lots of planning and Mariesa is very good at it. We load the taxi with the food and Donnia and I and Steve grab another taxi because the one we use is yep you guessed it full of food.

Back at the house Donnia and I put the stuff away because we are going to do some of the cooking and I wanted to organize the way I wanted it to be just like when I managed a restaurant brings back a lot of memories, but I don’t miss that kind of work at all.

Thursday

This was a good study day. Donnia and I have been digging into the Word of God together and we have been studying the topic of biblical prosperity. This has been really insightful and we are standing on the Word for all of our needs in this ministry to be met, Spiritually & Financially. God is doing so much and we need to be ready to meet the needs of a world ready for the Word of Faith which we preach.

Friday

WE are ready for the team (a slight schedule change but hey who would notice)all I have to do is cook a pot of soup and have it ready when they arrive, Mariesa and Steve are going to the airport to pick them up and bring them to the mission house. I fixed a big pot of veggie & beef soup with baked bread from the bakery. Phone rings and the plane is late……………..

9:30 the team is here and most of the luggage more to come in a later time…..we hope. A quick orientation and time to eat and then assign rooms and everybody was ready for some rest.

Saturday

Media_httplh5ggphtcom_botfe
Donnia and I are up about 6:15 to get the breakfast started this morning it is pancakes and sausage with juice and coffee. Lew is down to cook the meat and Donnia is setting the table, I will make the cakes and drink coffee. We set the dinning room up as a buffet because we want to be efficient and scriptural. Efficient people can serve themselves and Scriptural because Paul said we were to buffet our bodies……………….
Media_httplh5ggphtcom_hadtd

No change but just keep standing in faith he will get to eat at the big table soon……..

After breakfast we cleaned while the team did their morning devotions and got ready for the rest of the day.

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_ckicd

They have a lot to do as Mariesa keeps them busy. Donnia and I get done while the afternoon cooks come in to prepare the lunch meal so when the team is back they can eat and leave again.

Media_httplh5ggphtcom_bjtjr

Sunday

Donnia and I and Lew are back in the kitchen and today is  scrambled eggs and bacon. The team seems to be happy with the trip and the food.

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_upjha
They are a great team for sure. Pastor Rod is to preach for pastor Mitaac this morning and while they are gone Donnia and I will prepare lunch “chili” today and you thought I was going to say hot tomalley didn't you? I also made for the first time in Peru Mexican cornbread.

The team is back lunch is served and and we are watching COTM “Celebrate Family” well most  of us those who are not down for a nap, and let me tell you they were dropping fast.

3:00 pm and it is time for the team to go to Pastora Paula’s Church he is preaching tonight. When they get back I will have a light dinner fixed “hot dogs” Donnia is going to fix the Cole slaw.

Then tomorrow (Monday) we will start it all over again………………………..

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_jtgmy
[With the voice of the archangel. ... The word archangel occurs nowhere else in the New Testament, except in Jude 1:9, where it is applied to Michael. ... The word is not found in the Septuagint; and the only archangel, therefore, which is named in the Scriptures, is Michael, Jude 1:9 Comp. ... It seems evident from the Scriptures, that there is one or more among the angels to whom the name archangel properly belongs. ... The word here (in Greek) is without the article, and the phrase might be rendered, "with the voice of an archangel. ... It is not quite certain what is meant here by the "the voice of the archangel," or for what purpose that voice will be heard.]

Angels at the End of the Church Age

First Thessalonians 4:16 says, “He shall descend from heaven with a shout and with the voice of the archangel.”

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_kfljr
When Jesus comes back at the rapture of the Church, I believe there will be thousands of angels with Him. Just as Jesus was accompanied into heaven by a multitude of angels, I believe as the trumpet is blowing on that day, a whole host of angels will accompany us right into the throne room of God.

This is also true for every individual in the Church age who goes on to be with the Lord. The moment we were born, an angel was assigned to us. Every young child has an angel that ever beholds the face of the Father and you don’t think just because you get older your angel leaves do you? [Matt. 18:10]. The moment a believer leaves this earth to be with the Lord, they are taken up into heaven by a number of angels, I believe that angels swap out one one assignment goes home he is assigned to another believer until we are all home..

When Lazarus died and went to be with the Lord, the angels accompanied him into Abraham’s bosom.

I have been with those who have died and gone on to be with the Lord that have described angels. In fact, many times the angels are so real to them they cannot understand why I could not see them. But they are actually in a transition between this life and next, between heaven and earth, time and eternity. Their eyes are seeing clearly into both worlds, the natural and the spiritual.

You may wonder why we need so many angels for protection. It is because there are so many demons that try to attack us. Psalm 91 tells us that the angels have been sent to protect us so no evil can befall us and no plague can come nigh our dwelling. They will protect us.

The Ministry of Angels and Deliverance

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_bkmiw
Throughout the book of Acts, we learn what angels can do for us. The people mentioned in the book of Acts were not super heroes. They were people who were born under natural circumstances, faced with the same temptations as we are today. They are people who failed and floundered but got back up and kept going we are not the perfect people but we are the getting back up people.

Pro_24:16 For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.

The first occurrence of angels after the Day of Pentecost is described in Acts 5:17. Some of the chief leaders of the Church had been persecuted and put in prison because in Acts chapter 4 they were threatened and commanded never to preach again in the name of Jesus. Their response was, “If we must choose between you and God, we choose God.” The Bible says that as soon as they were released, they went back to “their own company”. Their own company would be their own camp, those who are of like faith, filled with the Holy Spirit, and know how to pray. It is good to know of what sort we belong with. I am of the faith camp or the faith family and we our faith buddies to help us along the way.

When they returned, the Bible says they all lifted up their voice in one accord. They said Lord; we are lifting up our hands, rejoicing that we had an opportunity to suffer for Jesus.” At that moment, the Bible says, the building where they were assembled was shaken and they were all filled (re-filled) with the Holy Spirit. The disciples went on to preach the Word with more boldness than ever before.

In chapter five of Acts, Peter and John were again thrown in prison for preaching the Word of God.

Acts 5: 17 Then the high priest rose up, and all they that were with him (which is the sect of the Sadducees,) and were filled with indignation, 18 And laid their hands on the apostles, and put them in the common prison. 19 But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them forth, and said, 20 Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.

Notice, the angel did not rebuke them for having to help again, he did not tell the disciples, look please don’t preach anymore.” Instead, the angel said, “Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.” The angel was speaking of the life of Jesus, the life of the new birth, the life of being Spirit-filled.

The apostles were delivered from prison by an angel. If the angels delivered the apostles from prison, we do not need to be in fear about anything. The disciples were not afraid of what the people thought of them. Even though they ended up back in jail for preaching the gospel, when the angel delivered them he told them to get right back out and preach again.

When we are in trouble for the sake of the gospel, the angels are present to deliver us out of that trouble. Jail cannot defeat us and chains cannot hold us. If necessary, the angels of God will deliver us from them!

Angels and Guidance

The next time we find the ministry of angels in action after the Day of Pentecost is in Acts 8:26. Philip had just preached the gospel in the city of Samaria. An angel appeared to him and gave him guidance.

Acts 8: 26 And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert. 27 And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship. Angels know how to lead and guide us.

Not only do we receive guidance from the Holy Spirit, angels can bring a message that will help to guide us. God sent an angel to Philip, a servant of the Lord. He was simply a deacon in the church, someone who helped serve other believers in the church. He was not one of the twelve disciples. He was simply a believer in the church who was faithful. An angel appeared and gave direction to a Christian who was faithfully serving the Lord!

The good news is that the same angels that ministered to Philip in his day minister to us today. When you are seeking guidance, God can choose to guide you by one of His angels.

Angels Give Instruction

It seems once the Church began angels were in more in demand because of all that God intended for the Church to accomplish. The ministry of angels changed and now we as believers can interact and charge angels to work on our behalf by speaking the the Word of God to bring about His will in our lives. There is a lot of teaching about commanding angels,we speak the word of God and angels respond to the voice of God Ps.103:20 so when we speak the word as far as the angel is concerned God is speaking and they carry out His spoken word. They act when the word is spoken not on what is written.

In Acts 10:3-6, not only was guidance given, instruction was also given. Cornelius a Gentile man who was earnestly seeking after God. An angel came to him in a vision giving him instruction and admonishing him that his prayers had been heard in heaven. God sent this angel with instructions for Cornelius. He told Cornelius to send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter. The angel also told Cornelius that Peter would come. This angel gave Cornelius more than guidance; he actually told Peter what was going to happen. Peter did come, preached the gospel, and Cornelius and his entire household believed and were filled with the Holy Spirit.

Angels and Prayer

Media_httplh6ggphtcom_jcezi
Acts, chapter 12 recounts the fact that Peter was in prison and the church was praying for him, it is good to have a praying Church that will really pray and seek God with you and on your behalf. This story shows us that angels are great stewards over intercessory prayer. There are numerous instances in the Word of God when an individual or group of believers prayed and angels were sent to minister the answer to those prayers. In both the Old and New Testaments angels worked on behalf of those who prayed if it was about a nation or an individual, they were present in bringing the answer. Just look at Abraham or Daniel or Peter or Paul. Acts 12 Peter was delivered from prison, while he was sleeping-wow that is great news, even while we sleep the angels of God are working on our behalf…..GLORY!!

Supernatural Deliverance

Media_httplh6ggphtcom_bccuj
Even if we don’t see them, angels are present to supernaturally deliver us. Just as Peter was delivered from a physical prison, God’s delivering power was not hindered. Peter’s bondage was physical bars.

Today, many people are bound with chains of oppression, chains of lust, and chains of the sins of this world. Oftentimes, when a person prays for deliverance, an angel is dispatched to break the chains that are holding them captive.

Angels and Praise and Worship

The moment we begin to lift our hands to worship the Lord, angels are there to break those chains. Angels respond to praise and worship we give to the Father and to Jesus. I remember a story told by Jerry Savelle when I was at a Kenneth Copeland meeting in Fort Worth TX, he told how that he had seen an angel above standing where the catwalk would be and without going into the whole story brother Jerry said that “every time he would say the name of Jesus this huge angel would fold his wings and bow in honor of the Name of Jesus” They respond to the praise and worship we give to God and when we give it in the mist of trials and they will go to work to bring about the deliverance for us.

Angels and Judgment

Media_httplh6ggphtcom_cczqf
Act 12:21 And upon a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat upon his throne, and made an oration unto them. And the people gave a shout, saying, It is the voice of a god, and not of a man. And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost.

It was a bad day for Herod when He stood pridefully before the people, declared himself to be a god. The Bible says he was smitten with worms and died. The angel was sent to bring judgment to Herod because he gave not the glory to God.

Angels and the Word of Knowledge

Paul in the book of Acts chap. 27 was given a word of knowledge by an angel. Paul was a prisoner on board a ship that was caught in a terrible storm, which lasted many days. During the storm, Paul said the angel of God stood by him and told him that not one man’s life would be lost.

Often there are times when we are seeking God and worshipping Him that the gifts of the Spirit will be active and could be brought to us by an angel; the word of knowledge or word of wisdom in the midst of a circumstance, the gift of healing or working of miracles.

Angels and Healing

According to the Bible, angels have the ministry of bringing God’s healing power into the earth. As seen in John chapter 5 this recounts how people desiring healing in their bodies would lay by the pool of Bethesda waiting for an angel to stir up the water. Angels are connected to the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit. Often we sense the presence of the Holy Spirit in our services but I think many times we are sensing the tangible presence of God’s angels as well.

Angles and the Rebuke

In the book of Jude, we learn something very interesting about the ministry of angels.

Jude 9 Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

Even though Michael was an archangel and one of the higher ranking angels, he did not bring a railing accusation against Satan. He simply said, “The Lord rebuke you”.

When we come against Satan it is not us coming against him, it is us in the strong name of Jesus, coming against him. We do not come against Satan in our own strength or with our own words. We use His words and His Name. Why? Because angels are just below God himself and by creation just above man, by creation man is lower than angels but by position man is higher than angels. But God has taken man and has crowned him with glory and honor by the shed blood of Jesus Christ and by accepting Him as Lord and savior we have been made to sit with Him in heavenly places.

The name of Jesus is where the power and authority is and we need to use that name in all we do. Colossians 3:17 says, “And whatsoever ye do in word of deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.”

Angels Will Preach

Revelation 14: 6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people.

In Revelation 14:6, the Bible also reveals that angels will preach the gospel during the Tribulation. This is something that has never occurred.

The Power of Angels

Media_httplh6ggphtcom_udade
We must not underestimate the power of angels. If one angel will throw Satan into the bottomless pit, and an innumerable company of angels surrounds us, just imagine how much our angels can do for us!

Angels fly at the speed of light and beyond so when we use the Word of God to commission and angel on our behalf they can circle the globe multiple times before we can finish what we are saying., because angels respond to the spoken word of God and when we speak the word of God [Scripture] they will react according to the word spoken. Psa 103:20 Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word. Notice it did not say they hearken to the word but to the speaking of the word.

Just because it is written down angels don’t go do it, why? Because they hearken to the VOICE of the Lord weather the Lord speaks it or weather we speak it!

We are not more powerful in ourselves but with just one angel and the spoken word of God we are much more powerful then the devil through the Strong Name of JESUS!

Angels have been with us from the time we were born, we have angels that make their home in our home, ride in our car walk with us down the street. Our angel does not go back and forth to heaven but the scripture says they encamp around us Ps. 34:7 the word “encamp” means “sets up home”

ḥānāh: A verb meaning to pitch one's tent, encamp. It refers to pitching a tent or setting up camp for various reasons: to encamp in a particular location (Gen_26:17; Exo_14:2, Exo_14:9); to encamp against an enemy. Our home is their home and they won’t go back to heaven until we do!!!!!!!

Just as believers are anticipating the Second Advent of Jesus Christ, so are the angels. When that day arrives, not only will we hear a shout from heaven and the voice of an archangel, we will hear a shout from the eternities of one end of heaven to the other as angels rejoice at the coming of Jesus Christ for His Church. We cannot lose! We do not need to fear the future because God and His angels are with us.

Many Thanks to Pastor Bob Yandian, for his teaching on angels who I have relied on heavily for these articles. Some of the texts are direct quotes from his sermons and notes I have taken from his teaching when at Grace Church in Tulsa OK. Used with permission.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY - Feliz cumpleaños

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_sqasx
To our good friend Pastor Jorge Benavides. We were so honored to be ask to attend the party that his Church gave for his (number unknown)
Media_httplh6ggphtcom_ffifd
birthday party. It was held at a local restaurant in Arequipa called El Montonero here is a youtube clip of it. (this is not my film)

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_mbded

The view from the second floor where we were seated was outstanding, from the balcony you could see the twin peaks of the large church in the Plaza de Armas. A river flows just outside off the balcony and the city is beautiful at night.

The food was outstanding, they brought out a small hibachi that had enough meat on it to feed four and put them all along the table about 10 of them. On the hibachi was chicken & beef and Anticuchos (Peruvian beef heart skewers) and sausage of many types, also there were platters of french fries and salad all shared by the four closed to each setting. Sorry no photo I forgot to take a photo before everyone grabbed a piece of meat……so you will just have to come and see it for yourself.

This was a time of real fun and then at the end of the dinner several told Pastor how much they loved him and thanked him for being a wonderful pastor and leader. Then came the gifts and after that the night was ended. Donnia and had such a wonderful time……..

Food – Fun & Hair

We have been having lots of fun getting to know Rachel the granddaughter of Lew and Marisa and Pastor Jorge’s fiancée Francy.

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_skovx

Media_httplh5ggphtcom_hhxgn
Francy has a hair salon and Donnia went to have her hair fixed and her nails done. It looks like we have found a place for all this to be done now because she is very good and Donnia’s hair looks great and her nails too. After the hair work it was time to do what we do best go eat lunch and so KFC here we come.

Media_httplh5ggphtcom_jobdm

Media_httplh5ggphtcom_qdswa

Rachel,Donnia and I went to

the mall to find Pastor Jorge a birthday gift and low and behold we found Pastor Jorge and Francy too, so we had to figure out a way to get him away from the gift buying so I suggested we go get an ice cream while Donnia and Francy went to the store. This worked great for all as you can see, the girls joined us soon.

My preaching and teaching seclude is filling up to the point that I am running out of calendar dates open for the rest of this year. So that means I am inside a lot, and Donnia is even going to be teaching some in a couple of campmeetings.

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_eqqoi
But while I am studying she is doing what she has always enjoyed for some strange and I find odd reason…………..work in the yard.

The other day I heard her say she would be outside working, after a few hours I thought I would take a break and have a cup of coffee and check on her. Ever heard the song look at me “like a kitten up a tree” only this was a grape vine.So I ask her how it was going and she said all was well but she had found that part of the fence was electrified.

Media_httplh4ggphtcom_indpe

As you can see I could not see her real clear but I could hear her just fine so I guess you could say “I heard it through the grape vine”. oh ok, but she had cleared so much of the underbrush away that you can see the landscape from our balcony now.

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_tcpbd

She worked till night fall and it was so pretty that I just had to get a shot of the lights and the El Misti behind our house from the balcony. That’s my part in the outdoors project…

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_rziff
Finely I want to say thank you to all the students at CEB for the nice Fathers Day party they gave for the dad’s and I was invited to come and be a part. Along with Lew and Donnia and Mariesa and all the Dad’s at CEB. Thank to all the students and to Elizabeth Mitacc for all the hard work they all put into doing this.

In this issue RHEMA Bolivia – Fathers Day – Happy Birthday – CEB & The Present Day Ministry of Angels pt. 1

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_aanoa
Well it’s been another busy week here in Arequipa. We were blessed to have the 3 year missions class come from RHEMA Bolivia to Arequipa for 4 days.

Media_httplh6ggphtcom_begdf
They were in the capable hands of my friend Pastor David Taboada, what a great blessing to have them in. They preached several times for Pastor Manuel Manchego and did street evangelism.
Media_httplh4ggphtcom_shhhy

We were able to prepare breakfast for them each day and they all just poured out their love on all of us.

One night David went to CEB and taught a class for Dr.Lew. When it came time for them to go home it was bitter sweet as we so enjoyed or time with them but knew their families were missing them as well.

In October Donnia and I will travel to Bolivia and teach a Pastors class at RHEMA for a couple of weeks. We are looking forward to doing this, and being with our good friends David and Violeta Larsson.

After the Bolivia team left the house was so empty but we had plenty to do keep us busy.

Media_httplh6ggphtcom_didcl
I will soon be starting a class at CEB (Centro De Estudios Biblicos) I will be teaching on the subject “Foundations of Faith” this class will cover – Foundations, Repentance from Dead Works, Faith toward God, Doctrines of Baptisms, Laying on of Hands, Resurrection of the Dead, & Eternal Judgment. I am looking forward to the class very much.

What Does The Bible Teach About Angels?

Once while in prayer with another minister friend of mine the Lord opened my eyes and his and we saw a number of angels descend into a church we attended. I ask the minister I was with if he saw anything and he said "Yes, but I wanted to wait to see if you said anything first"

That night during the seminar we were attending the preacher that brought the message at the end of the service said "I don't know if any of you can see what I see, but there are many angels standing all around in this auditorium right now". That night many wonderful things took place and God was glorified greatly.

Media_httplh6ggphtcom_bohzm
I. An Innumerable Company of Angels

Heb. 12:22-24 KJV

(22)  But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

(23)  To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

(24)  And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

We should be thankful for the blood of the Lord Jesus. Old Testament saints lived all their lives looking forward to the spotless Lamb of God who would come to redeem us from sin and death and we look back to it. The blood of Jesus Christ has not only removed all sins, it has also removed the consciousness of sin. We now, as blood bought believers, have the ability to walk with a renewed mind, a "righteousness consciousness". We have the mind of Christ ( I Cor.2:16).

No longer are we held accountable for the sins we had before we knew the Lord Jesus and ask for his blood to cleanse us. Now we can stand before the Lord as one with no sin, justified, clean.

Every time we sin after we are saved, the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us if we confess them ( I Jn.1:9). The scripture also teaches us we are not to continue to sin. Another word for that would be "practice" sin (1Jn 3:9 AMP).  No one born (begotten) of God [deliberately, knowingly, and habitually] practices sin, for God's nature abides in him [His principle of life, the divine sperm, remains permanently within him]; and he cannot practice sin because he is born (begotten) of God.

But for this study I want us to look at verse 22, it says we are come to an "innumerable company of angels".

II.       The Increased Activity of Angels

Since the time of the Old Testament, the ministry of angels has increased and the ministry of angels has changed.  Hebrews 1:14 says of angels, "Are they not all ministering

spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?"

God has not created more angels, however, their activity has increased and their ministry has changed in the way they are to minister for us as believers or as the scripture puts it "the heirs of salvation".

Under the old covenant their ministry was limited but under the new covenant, the angels are assigned to protect every individual who is born again.

Media_httplh5ggphtcom_pzipg
III. The Ministry of Angels Surrounding Jesus

At the beginning of the book of Matthew, angels are present. At the closing of the four Gospels, angels are also present. As Jesus was resurrected into heaven, there were thousands of angels surrounding Him.

Psalm 68

vs. 17   The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.

vs. 18   Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the Lord God might dwell among them.

Of the thousands of angels that surrounded Jesus as He ascended to heaven, two remained on earth and instructed the disciples to go to the upper room to wait for the coming Holy Spirit.

These verses are referring to the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at the beginning of the Church age on the day of Pentecost. But it also refers to the fact that Jesus was resurrected before that event. On Pentecost, gifts were given to men, the Spirit of God was poured out, and God came on that day with the Holy Spirit to turn rebellious people into children of God.

But notice what the disciples could not see as Jesus was taken into heaven. Jesus was received into heaven by thousands and thousands of angels in chariots!

Acts 1

vs. 9     And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

In verse 8, Jesus had instructed the disciples to go Jerusalem to wait for the Holy Spirit. And after Jesus had shared these things with the disciples, verse 9 tells us that a "cloud received him out of their sight". That cloud was the glory cloud. There were thousands of angels accompanying Him and they surrounded Him like a cloud!

IV.     Angels at the Beginning of the Church Age

vs. 10

And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;

vs. 11

Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

The angels were saying, "Okay, Jesus is gone, but He will return. Until he does you are to occupy (stay busy), you have things to do." The ministry of the Church began with angels and the ministry of the Church leaving this earth will end with angels. Jesus had just told the disciples what they were to do,

Act 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Then the angels said this, asking "why stand ye gazing up into heaven?" You have a job to do, now lets get with it boys!

V.      Angels are Waiting for Us

The angels were ready for their new assignment. They were ready to go into battle.

They were ready for the disciples to be obedient to the Spirit of God. The angels would be there for divine protection.

(A little side thought here)

I hear people say and have heard it all my Christian life, things like "she is a real prayer warrior" or "I have been warring in prayer all night in spiritual warfare". My question is, why? We have warrior angels who fight on our behalf. We need to believe the word of God and pray in faith, and if we really believe what we have prayed and trust God will do it not based on us and how many scriptures we quote or how long we pray in tongues, but based on John 3:16 and John 16:26-33, we have our prayers answered because HE LOVES US, THE SAME AS HE LOVES JESUS. Where is the scripture for us to be the warriors?

I see where the Church prayed for Peter and the angels responded to the prayers of the saints and he was let out of prison by angels. I see where the angels responded to Abraham and to Daniel when they prayed. When Abraham prayed it was probably in the cool of the morning in the door of his tent when Jesus and the two angels met him. And when Daniel prayed it was likely in the afternoon and he was delivered in the Lion's den. And when Peter was released in was in the late night. This tells me that angels never sleep morning, noon or night.

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_cvizo
They stand ready to respond to the word of God spoken by His sons and daughters. Angels don't sleep so you can! So follow the example of Jesus. Unless God has separated you for a time of special prayer and He does this from time to time, the minute you say In The Name Of Jesus Amen, shelf it, turn over and get a good night's rest while your angels go and stay busy on your behalf.!! Glory to Jesus! And while you're sawing logs back home they are busy letting things out of prisons or shutting the Lions mouth. My Bible says when the farmer plants he then goes to sleep and rises and goes to sleep and lets the seed do what seeds do while you go about the work of the kingdom.

Today, angels are waiting to minister in our behalf, but usually they are waiting on us. Unfortunately, there are many Christians today who have bored angels. Their angels have nothing to do because these people will not do anything for the kingdom of God. But when we are doing things for the kingdom of God, we keep our angels busy!

Each day we should wake up asking the Lord, "What can I do for you today, Lord?"  And when we do the angels are suiting up and getting ready because they know anytime you or I want to do something in the kingdom there is a battle to fight and win, because we as believers fight the GOOD fight of Faith, and what is a good fight....................the ones we win!!

Next month we will look at:Angels at the End of the Church Age, The Ministry of Angels and Deliverance, Angels and Guidance

Many thanks to BYM and JHM & The writers of the Bible as resources for this study

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_qfwpy
la filigrana figura pájaros que representa, los hombres, o los monos; mantos, las pulseras y las orejeras de la cultura de Vicus;
Media_httplh3ggphtcom_jganr

Media_httplh3ggphtcom_bkoka
